Lifeinmena- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said the country’s military will continue its strikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, amid rising tensions along the border.

In a video statement on Wednesday, Netanyahu said he had instructed the Israeli military to intensify operations and reinforce what he described as a “security zone” in southern Lebanon.
He added that Israeli forces were preparing to “overwhelm” the town of Bint Jbeil, a key area in southern Lebanon, as international pressure grows for a ceasefire between the two sides.
Netanyahu also said the United States was keeping Israel informed about developments related to Iran, describing the two countries as aligned on the issue.
He warned that Israel was ready for any outcome should efforts to maintain a ceasefire with Iran fail.
The remarks come amid continued cross-border hostilities and growing concern from the international community over the risk of a wider regional conflict.
